What determines whether a turned part is a good fit?
A useful quotation depends on more than outside diameter and length. Overseas buyers should identify the features that control assembly, inspection and repeat production.
Drawing and datums
Provide the controlled 2D drawing and revision. Mark datum relationships, fits, runout, coaxiality and mating surfaces when they are function-critical.
Threads and small features
Define thread standard, class, depth, reliefs, grooves, cross holes, flats, knurls and deburring expectations rather than relying on a general note.
Material and finish
State the exact grade, condition, heat treatment, coating and certificate needs. Any alternative requires review and customer approval.
Inspection and packing
Identify critical characteristics, report needs, cosmetic criteria, surface protection, labels and export packing before production.

What should I send for a CNC turned parts quotation?
Send a 2D drawing or 3D model, drawing revision, material, quantity, critical tolerances, threads, finish, inspection requirements, packaging needs and delivery destination.
Can CKJM manufacture turned parts from a sample or photo?
A clear sample, photo or sketch can support an initial discussion when dimensions and functional requirements are included. A controlled drawing is normally required before final production.
Which turned-part features should be marked as critical?
Common examples include mating diameters, bores, shoulders, threads, sealing surfaces, datum relationships, runout, coaxiality, grooves and features affecting assembly.
Can inspection reports or material documents be supplied?
They can be provided according to confirmed customer and project requirements. List every required document in the RFQ so the scope can be planned before production.
